  5. Do you sell any products in the grocery store?
    Yes, you can find many of your favorite CPK pizzas in your grocer’s freezer. They are manufactured and distributed by Nestlé’s Pizza division.
  6. Does California Pizza Kitchen franchise?
    At this time, California Pizza Kitchen does not franchise in the US. CPK does franchise internationally to companies that own full-service restaurant chains. Learn more about international franchising.
  7. I've seen CPK in airports and stadiums. Can you tell me more about that?
    Being in these locations is a great way to expand our brand and address the needs of discerning travelers on the go and sports fans looking for quality, innovative food. These locations are smaller than our full-service restaurants, and offer a selection of our most popular pizzas, salads, sandwiches and appetizers.
  8. Is California Pizza Kitchen publicly traded?
    Shares in California Pizza Kitchen first traded on the NASDAQ National Market on August 2, 2000 under the ticker symbol CPKI. On July 7, 2011, CPK and Golden Gate Capital announced the successful completion of the acquisition of CPK by an affiliate of GGC. As a result of the acquisition, our common stock is no longer publicly traded.

  1. What kinds of ingredients do you use in your menu items? Where can I locate your nutritional information?
    We strive to source premium ingredients and fresh vegetables and herbs are hand-cut in our kitchens. We value your dietary needs, which is why we provide comprehensive nutritional information on our website. Many of our menu items can be modified to fit your needs. We offer options like honey-wheat with whole grain pizza crust and multi-grain pasta. So explore our menu. One bite and we’re sure you’ll understand the delicious difference.

    Yes. We've designed a Catering Menu featuring a wide selection of signature CPK items. We offer options for parties large and small to fit within any budget. We even have a mobile kitchen that can bring everything we need to cater your party -- including the kitchen sink.

  1. How do I purchase CPK Gift Cards?
    You can purchase Gift Cards from all of our full-service California Pizza Kitchen locations in the United States EXCEPT for airport locations, stadiums, universities, Grand Sierra Resort in Reno and the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. You can also order gift cards online today! We also offer electronic gift cards that allow gift givers the opportunity to send and personalize their gift instantly.
  2. Can I order a Gift Card online and pick it up at my local restaurant?
    At this time you are not able to pick up your online Gift Card orders at our restaurants. When you order online, your cards will be shipped directly to the address you provide. Or you can purchase an eGift Card and have it emailed instantly.
  3. Do Gift Cards expire?
    No, our gift cards never expire.
  4. Where can I use my Gift Card?
    CPK Gift Cards can be used at any California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) in the United States EXCEPT for airport locations, stadiums, universities, the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, and the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. They are also not valid in Guam or international locations. Find a CPK location near you.
  5. What can I purchase with a CPK Gift Card?
    Our Gift Cards can be used toward any item listed on our menu, food and beverage.
  6. Can I reload my CPK Gift Card?
    No, our gift cards are not reloadable.
  7. Is it safe to give my credit card information online?
    Keeping your information secure is a top priority for us. When you place your order through our website, your order information, including credit card number, is transmitted to our secure server. To validate the security of your order, please review the Trustwave validation seal when entering your payment information.
  8. In what dollar amounts are CPK Gift Cards available?
    CPK Gift Cards are available in whole dollar denominations, in five-dollar increments, from $10 to $500.
  9. Does CPK charge a monthly service fee for unused balances left on my Gift Card?
    No, a monthly service fee is not applied to our gift cards.
  10. Will you sell my information to other companies?
    We are as concerned about ensuring the privacy of your information as you are. California Pizza Kitchen will not trade, rent or sell your personal information. We will also never share your credit card number, email address, or other personal information without your prior authorization. For more details, please refer to our privacy policy.
  11. I need a Gift Card today and I do not live near a California Pizza Kitchen restaurant. Where else can I find California Pizza Kitchen Gift Cards?
    You can purchase our Gift Cards on this Web site. Our eGift Card option allows gift givers the opportunity to send their gift instantly via email.
  12. How do I check the balance on my Gift Card?
    You can check your balance by going to any of our full-service California Pizza Kitchen restaurants, cpk.com or by calling our automated toll free number at 1-888-351-2594.
  13. What are my shipping options and how long does it take to receive a Gift Gard?
    Shipping time will depend on the delivery method you select. Gift Cards can be sent to either a physical street address or a recognizable post office box. You can also purchase our eGift cards to be instantly emailed! We recommend shipping purchases over $100 via FedEx. FedEx only ships to physical street addresses and not P.O. Boxes. Signature is required for delivery to a place of business. FedEx will make three (3) attempts to deliver a package.

    Delivery options & charges:
    $1.50: United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail 3-5 business days. Tracking not included.
    $11.25: FedEx 2-Day. Tracking included.
    $20.00: FedEx Nest Day Air 1-Day. Tracking included.

    Orders received before 5AM PST are processed same day. Orders after 5AM PST are processed the following day.
  14. Can I place a Gift Card order for delivery to Hawaii or Alaska?
    Yes, we deliver to Hawaii and Alaska via USPS Standard Mail and FedEx. Please note that USPS deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska take approximately 7-14 business days. Standard Overnight and FedEx 2-Day are available for deliveries to Alaska. Hawaii offers FedEx 2-Day Shipping only. Also note that while shipping might indicate overnight and 2-Day, there are regions in these areas that require extra time for delivery.
  15. Do you deliver on Saturday or Sunday?
    No, at this time we do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. However, if a Gift Card is shipping via USPS there is a possibility of it arriving on a Saturday.
  16. Do you deliver outside of the United States?
    No, at this time, we do not deliver outside of the United States.
  17. Can I place a Gift Card order for delivery in the United States if I live in another country?
    No, currently we cannot accept international forms of payment for online orders.
  18. Can I place a Gift Card order for delivery to a P.O. Box?
    Federal Express does not ship to P.O. Boxes, however, USPS Standard Mail does. If you require delivery to a P.O. Box please choose USPS Standard Mail.
  19. Can I place a Gift Card order for delivery to APO addresses?
    At this time we cannot deliver gift cards to APO addresses.
  20. Can I place a Gift Card order if I have an APO address?
    At this time we cannot accept an online order if you have an APO billing address.
  21. I chose USPS Standard Mail before and received my Gift Card in 3 days, and another time it took 7 days. Why?
    USPS Standard Mail service is reliant on the distance the order has to travel, as well as mail volume. During peak mail times, service may take longer than usual.
  22. Will I get confirmation of my Gift Card order?
    Yes, after your order is placed, you will be emailed a confirmation that will include your order details.
  23. How do I track my order?
    If you chose Federal Express, your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is shipped. To track your order, use your tracking number at www.fedex.com. Tracking is not available for USPS Mail orders.
  24. What if I use USPS Standard Mail and my Gift Card order takes longer than expected or never shows up?
    Orders not delivered in 14 business days will be replaced. The original Gift Card will be deactivated and marked as stolen and a new card will be issued. We recommend that you plan for USPS Standard Mail service to take 5-7 business days. If your order does not arrive in that time, please call 1-888-351-2594.
  25. What happens if my CPK Gift Card does not work?
    Gift Cards that don't work properly can be loaded onto another card at any California Pizza Kitchen restaurant. You can also call our toll free number for further assistance at 1-888-351-2594.
  26. Can I return a California Pizza Kitchen Gift Card?
    Your Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash or credit, except as required by law.

  28. What happens if my CPK Gift Card is lost or stolen?
    Please treat your card like cash, as California Pizza Kitchen is not responsible for unauthorized use.   4. What are your options to catering a big event?
    In Southern California, our full-service professionally staffed 35-foot mobile kitchen is ready to get trucking and turn heads at your next event. This restaurant on wheels includes ovens, sauté stations and coolers, which makes it easy to bring our kitchen to your place. Email mobilekitchen@cpk.com for details and pricing.

    Our pop up kitchens, featuring easily visible CPK signage, bring CPK's original menu and friendly service to fairs and corporate events with an experienced staff that can prepare CPK dishes onsite. Recommended for events of 200 people or more.

  3. What is your management and hourly turnover?

    We typically look for a minimum of two years of experience in a full-service restaurant, but for us, it goes beyond experience.   5. What is the management training program like at CPK?
    CPK offers a nine week comprehensive Management Training Program in a World Class Training Center (WCTC) closest to you. During your nine weeks at a WCTC, you are fully trained and validated in all Front of House and Back of House hourly positions. You also learn our menu, line checks, food ordering and receiving, opening and closing procedures, and other management responsibilities. You then transfer to your home restaurant to give you the opportunity to meet your team members, get acquainted with your guests, become familiar with your restaurant, and set you up for success in your position with your management team.
  6. How is leadership structured at CPK?
    There are multiple leadership positions that vary in different restaurant locations: Community Brand Ambassador, Shift Leaders, Front of the House Managers, Back of the House Managers, Assistant General Managers, Kitchen Managers, General Managers, and Managing Partners. Each restaurant can have a different mix of the above positions, which is typically 3-5 managers per location, depending on the restaurant’s needs.
  7. What type of benefits do you offer?
    We bring the same kind of inspiration, commitment, and pride in taking care of our employees as our employees are to creating memorable experiences for our guests through great food and awesome hospitality. Our benefits package is highly competitive with offerings such as health, dental and vision coverage on the first of the month following 30 days of employment for our salaried employees.
  8. Does CPK offer a bonus program?
    Yes we do! Each level of management can potentially earn a bonus linked to key achievements in the restaurant. All bonuses are highly attainable based on meeting criteria and rewards for restaurant performance.
  9. What is the minimum age requirement to work at CPK?
    You can be a host if you are under 18 and at least 15 in certain states. You can become a server if you are 18 and above (in most states). If you are 17, you cannot be a server in most states because they serve alcohol. Bartenders and managers need to be at least 21 years of age because they will be pouring alcohol as well as serving it. Some high schools will grant work permits at the age of 15, so talking to your school is a good idea to learn about the age requirements in your area.
  10. How do I apply?
    Hourly applicants:

  11. I am having difficulty uploading my resume. What should I do?
    Hourly applicants:
    If uploading your Word or PDF document doesn’t work, try copying and pasting your resume into the text box in the online application and uploading that way instead of attaching it separately. All hourly applications are sent directly to the restaurant to which you apply.

    Management & RSC applicants:
    Save your Word document resume in Rich Text Format (.rtf) and try again. RTF documents usually upload easier into our system. If that doesn’t work, please send us an email by clicking the “Ask a Question” link at the top of this page.
  12. I have submitted my resume online for a posted management opportunity. When can I expect to hear back about scheduling an interview?
    You will be notified by email once we have received your submitted resume. We collect and screen each application we receive for each of the positions posted. A recruiter will typically reach out to you to schedule a phone interview within one to two weeks of applying if there is an interest in moving forward to the next step of the process. If you have not heard from us within three weeks of applying, we have most likely decided to pursue other applicants. However, don't be discouraged if you don't hear back; please feel free to reapply for other opportunities with us. We always want to find the best fit for everyone.

  2. Does it cost anything to become a member?
    No, there is no charge for becoming a member of the CPK RewardsTM Program.
  3. What are the benefits of CPK Rewards?
    Earn 1 point for every $1* you spend. When you reach 75 points, you receive a $5 Reward which is automatically added to your account. The reward is available to use on your next visit when you check-in using the CPK RewardsTM mobile app or when you provide your server your account phone number.

  4. Is there anything I don't earn points on?
    Dollars spent on purchases of gift cards, alcoholic beverages or non-food items such as taxes and delivery charges do not earn points. However, purchases made with gift cards do count towards CPK RewardsTM.
  5. Will my CPK RewardsTM expire if I don't use them right away?
    Earned CPK RewardsTM dollars expire 90 days from the time they are issued to you so you will need to redeem them during that period. Elite status members have an extended expiration—they are valid for 12 months. Non-earned CPK RewardsTM or other special rewards may have different expiration dates, which will be communicated to you by email when the award is given.
  6. I had a special reward on my account and it disappeared before I could use it. What happened?
    We’re sorry you didn’t get to enjoy your reward. Some of our rewards are offered for a limited time only and expire after the period ends. Please note that we specify the expiration guidelines at the time rewards are made so please check the offer details when you receive notice of a special reward.
  7. I’ve been identified as a VIP, Diamond or Elite Member of CPK RewardsTM. How do I maintain this level?
    You will hold your current level status until December 31, 2019. To maintain your achieved status of VIP, Diamond or Elite in 2020, you must requalify in the 2019 earning period by meeting the point threshold for earning that level. VIP = 150+ points, Diamond = 350+ points, Elite = 1,000+ points.
  8. I am an existing member of CPK RewardsTM. Can I achieve a higher level in 2019?
    Yes. Benefit levels for existing members are determined by points earned in 2018. You are automatically identified and categorized into your level based on how many points you earned in 2018. Like all members, you are eligible to move up to a new level if you earn the minimum qualifying points for that level. Example: You start 1/29/19 as a VIP level member. You must requalify for VIP level status by earning 150+ points in the 2019 earning period and then meet the new point threshold of Diamond at 350 points to achieve that level. Once achieved, you will hold that status for the remainder of 2019 and will carry that status through the end of 2020.
  9. I just joined CPK RewardsTM. Can I achieve new levels throughout the year?
    Yes. You can achieve new levels throughout the year. The level you achieve by December 31st will determine your status for the following year. For example, if you earn 350 points by 12/31/19 you will achieve Diamond level and benefits through 12/31/20. In order to maintain Diamond level through 2021, you need to earn a minimum of 350 points in the calendar year 2020.
  10. Does it matter what time of year I achieve a new benefit level?
    No. Whether you achieve a new benefit level in April or December, you stay at that level for the remainder of the current calendar year, plus the entirety of the following calendar year.
  11. How do I know how much CPK RewardsTM I have earned?
    Log into your account on the CPK RewardsTM mobile app or view your account online at www.cpk.com/cpkrewards. When you get to the Rewards Page, select Login, and enter your username and password. Once you have logged in, you can check your account balance by selecting the “Account Balance” link. You can also review your account history by selecting the “Transaction History” link. You may also ask a Team Member in the restaurant to check your balance for you.
  12. Do I earn points for buying a Gift Card?
    No, purchases of gift cards do not count towards your CPK Rewards points. Please note: the recipient of your gift card, if registered for CPK RewardsTM, will earn points when they use their gift card to make a purchase.

  14. What do I need to register for a CPK RewardsTM account?
    When you register, you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, birthday, e-mail address and your favorite location. During registration, you will also be asked to create a username and password to access your account
  15. After I register, what do you do with my information?
    We use this information to send you information on special offers and promotions that we think will be of interest to you. We also use it to send updates on changes to the program and to keep you apprised of your account activity. Your phone number is necessary to look up your account at the restaurant if you aren’t checked in using our CPK RewardsTM mobile app. Please note that we will never share your information with a third party, except when necessary for specific services such as a sweepstakes entry.

  18. Why has the Skip the Line Benefit been suspended?
    The health and safety of our CPK guests and team members is our top priority. As we work on opening up our restaurants with adjustments to ensure proper social distancing can take place with limited capacity, we find that we need to temporarily suspend this benefit. As soon as we can safely provide a way to deliver this benefit, we will be happy to bring it back.
  1. Is My Group Eligible?
    Eligible groups include 501c charitable organizations, non-profit schools and community groups. Examples of organizations we have supported through Fundraisers includes Soccer Clubs, Schools, Senior Communities, Church Groups, Parent Teacher Organizations, School Bands, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Preschools, Cheerleading Squads, Camps, Student Councils, Little League Teams, High School Sports Teams, Sororities/Fraternities, Swim Teams, and more!
  2. What Percentage Of Sales From The Fundraising Event Does My Organization Receive?
    20% of all food and beverage sales generated from your event will be donated directly to your organization, excluding tax, gratuity, Gift Card and retail sales. That’s what we like to call powerful dough!
  3. How Does The Organization Receive Credit For Purchases?
    Fundraiser guests are required to present an official event flyer or mention the organization you are supporting to your server with each order to receive credit. We accept flyers shown digitally, on any device (we know this is the 21st century). Your organization receives credit for dine-in, take-out and catering purchases. Not valid for third party delivery partners. Flyers cannot be distributed inside or in the direct vicinity of our restaurants, including the parking lot, before or during the event.
  4. When Can My Organization Host An Event?
    Dates vary based on restaurant, so please check with your hometown CPK on availability, however most CPK restaurants book Fundraising events weekly from Monday-Thursday. A minimum two weeks notice is required to schedule your event. We like to plan ahead and hope you do too! This window gives you the chance to spread the word to your group’s friends, followers and supporters to maximize attendance.
  5. How Often Can I Schedule A Fundraising Event?
    Ready to book another event? This is getting serious. Fundraising events can be scheduled every 30 days with at least two weeks notice.
  6. How Do I Promote My Event Using Fundraiser Flyers?
    Glad you asked! A flyer is available for your Fundraising event. Once your Fundraising event has been approved by your CPK restaurant, our team will provide a flyer with complete details of your event for you to distribute to your Fundraising community. Electronic formats of the flyer are also available to help you promote via website, email and social media. For more helpful tips on promoting your event check out our Helpful Fundraising Tips.
  7. How Much Money Did My Organization Raise?
    Your CPK restaurant partners can let you know the total amount of ‘dough’ raised from your event the day afterwards. Please just contact your CPK restaurant representative for your final Fundraising total.
  8. When Can I Expect My Fundraiser Check?
    Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing, excluding delivery time.
